The Stage

From Inspiration to Implementation.

I don't just want your audience to leave inspired. I want them to leave knowing what to do next.

The most powerful stories don't end when the applause does. They change what people believe is possible—and give them a framework for turning that belief into action.

As a behavior-change professional, fitness leader, strategist, and international speaker, I combine lived experience with exercise psychology, human performance, and practical systems to help audiences move from inspiration to implementation.

My talks explore a simple question:

What does it actually take to change?

“Lisa, your bravery and vulnerability in sharing your story at our retreat touched me so deeply in such a powerful way. It has given me strength and courage in my own story. I cannot thank you enough.”
— Retreat Attendee

Signature Keynotes & Workshops

01 — The Operations of an Identity Shift

How Behavior, Movement & Agency Transform What We Believe Is Possible

I spent years being defined by what I couldn't do. Then movement gave me something more powerful than motivation: evidence.

Evidence that I could keep going.
Evidence that discomfort wasn't failure.
Evidence that my identity wasn't fixed.

In this keynote, I combine my personal journey with the science of behavior change to explore how identity influences action—and how repeated action can reshape identity.

Audiences will learn how to:

  • Recognize the gap between intention and behavior

  • Use small actions to build evidence for a new identity

  • Create environments and systems that make change easier

  • Understand why motivation alone rarely produces lasting change

  • Turn resilience from an abstract idea into a repeatable practice

This is more than a story about overcoming adversity.

It's a practical framework for becoming someone new.

“Lisa, thank you for your courage and for sharing your story. You touched every person in that room more deeply than you know.”
— Workshop Participant

02 — Mirror to Connect™: The Science of Instant Trust

How to Build Connection That Changes Behavior

Trust is not a soft skill.

It's the foundation that makes coaching, leadership, sales, teamwork, and behavior change possible.

Mirror to Connect™ was selected as part of the Fitness Business Association certification, where it became one of the featured educational modules for fitness professionals.

The framework combines practical communication strategies with the psychology of trust to help professionals create stronger connections quickly—without relying on scripts or forced rapport.

Audiences will learn how to:

  • Build trust more quickly in professional relationships

  • Recognize and respond to the communication cues people give you

  • Reduce resistance in difficult conversations

  • Create psychological safety

  • Help quieter people feel seen and heard

  • Turn connection into meaningful engagement

“Out of everything we had, years of content, hundreds of sessions, yours is one of ten that made the cut. The reason is simple: the way you opened with your own story...and then turned that into a framework every trainer can use immediately, is the most human session we've ever put inside a certification.”
— Joshua Leve, CEO, Fitness Business Association

“You have a gift for bringing out the 'quiet ones'...the ones we don't hear from often but have a lot to say.”
— Director of Coaching

03 — The Architecture of Resilience

Resilience Isn't a Trait. It's Something You Build.

What if resilience isn't something you're simply born with?

What if it's a system?

As an endurance athlete and behavior-change professional, I've learned that resilience isn't about never struggling. It's about developing the capacity, behaviors, environments, and support systems that allow you to keep moving through difficulty.

In this keynote, I use movement, exercise psychology, and my own experience rebuilding my life after trauma to explore resilience as something that can be designed, practiced, and strengthened.

Audiences will learn how to:

  • Reframe resilience as a skill rather than a personality trait

  • Build sustainable habits during periods of stress

  • Understand the relationship between movement and psychological well-being

  • Create systems that support recovery rather than relying on willpower

  • Turn adversity into a source of growth without romanticizing the struggle

“Your courage and strength are astounding! You are truly the definition of what it means to have grit and resilience! I was so touched by your story and so was my daughter.”
— Retreat Attendee
